Editing orders

Orders can be edited until the payment method is registered, but there are some important details to consider.

On the Kyte app 📱

  1. Once the products are added and the cart screen appears, tap the to see the available options.

  2. Tap Add Note to add important information for your customers, your team, or for internal sales tracking. You can choose whether or not the note will appear on the receipt.

  3. Add a discount to the total to be paid by tapping Give discount in the cart or in the menu found in the

  4. If you need to start ordering from scratch, tap Empty cart and confirm the action. The app will return to the Checkout menu with an empty cart.

Editing orders made on the online catalog

All orders arrive from the catalog with pending status.

  1. Select the order you want to edit.

  2. By tapping on us and on Edit Order, you will find the same options available in the cart

  3. As the order has already been created, at the end of editing you will have to choose between saving the order with the changes or finalizing the sale.

  4. The status will remain the same, but the order will have the new details defined.

Editing confirmed orders

When confirming an order, the stock is updated and the products, as well as the selected quantity, are no longer editable. This changes the available options when you edit the confirmed order.

  1. Select the order from the Orders menu.

  2. Tap the and Edit order

  3. The Give discount feature will remain active both on each product listed and on the total amount to be paid or the ...

  4. The Add note option will appear by clicking on the ... again

  5. After order confirmation, the use of custom statuses is activated. Any changes made to orders with custom statuses will be the same as those made to confirmed orders.

On the Kyte Web 💻

  1. Once the products are added and the cart screen appears, click Go to checkout to see the available options.

  2. In the Note field, add important information for your customers, your team or for internal sales control. You can choose whether or not the note will appear on the receipt.

  3. Add a discount to the total payable by tapping Give discount on the payment screen.

  4. If you need to start the order from scratch, go back to the previous screen by clicking on the '< next to the word Checkout, tap Clear cart and confirm the action. The page will return to the Sell menu with an empty cart.

⚠️ Confirmed orders update stock data so they don't allow changes to products. Once the sale is finalized, it will not be possible to delete it, only cancel it.
