Kyte has three main types of user accounts: account owner, administrator users, and non-administrator users.

Account owner

It is the one generated at the time the account is created. As it is responsible for the account's base data, it cannot be edited through the app. Therefore, you will see greyed out screens that have no interaction. If you need to make any corrections or updates, please contact our support team informing the email used to create it, what needs to be changed as well as the new information to be added.

Administrator users

They have the same permissions set as the main user but can have their information edited. With them you can access all of the app's resources, as well as edit the access of other users.

Non-administrator users

They can have different levels of access to the account and resources, it is possible to define the level of this interaction with the app through the Permissions tab.

Details about permissions

  • Administrator: This allows access to all app features and changes in the system, as well as changes to other users' access;

  • Allow use from a personal device: This allows access to the account from any device, instead of limiting it to just the device where the user was originally created;

  • View transactions from other users: This expands access to all orders placed in the account, including those coming from the online catalog;

  • Give discounts: This allows your team to enter discounts on the value of products and on the total value of sales completed in the app;

  • Create or edit products: This offers full control over the management of product data such as price, name, and description, but to make changes in stock it is necessary to activate the Manage Inventory permission as well;

  • Allow Pay Later: This allows your team to make sales using credit card, manage debt payments, and add credits to your customers' accounts.

⚠️Remember that all changes made to user accounts in Kyte will only be updated after the user logs out and logs back in to their app. If the user is already logged in, ask them to log out and log back in to see the changes.
