Erasing information stored in your account

Understand which data Kyte records and how you can delete specific information from your account.

All information registered in your Kyte account can only be accessed by users registered by you and who have logged in via the app or the web. To learn more about the security of your data, read our privacy policy.

  • This process is only available on Kyte POS and Kyte Catalog ;

  • It can only be performed by the user who created the account;

  • It will not be possible to undo it or recover the information.

Deleting the information in your account

To erase the customer, product, order, sales and statistics data from your Kyte account:

  1. Access the Settings menu in your app

  2. Go to General

  3. At the bottom of the screen, tap Erase data

  4. For the security of your data, a screen will appear to confirm the process

  5. Select I want to erase all data

  6. Tap Erase data again

  7. A second confirmation window will appear

  8. Click Yes to continue

  9. Wait for the process to finish

  10. Click Return to settings to go back to the menu

Deleting the information of a user

There are two options for deleting user data:

☝️ To delete a user and remove their access to your account, follow the steps here

✌️ To delete your personal data such as name, email, telephone, address, etc. from our records, follow the steps below:

  1. Click on the name of your shop at the top of the main menu of your Kyte app

  2. Click Erase personal data

  3. Fill in the details and sign the form

  4. Click Submit

  5. The data deletion process will be carried out within 7 business days of receiving the form

⚠️ Deleting data does not affect your subscription, if you want to cancel the monthly or annual fee payment for your Kyte plan, follow the steps here.
