Register products with variations

Advertise products with different colors, sizes, flavors, or versions, and manage your inventory and financial results like a pro.

🛑 Variations must be created in the Kyte POS app. It’s not possible to import or update this information in bulk.

Register the basic product details

  1. Go to the Products menu

  2. In the Items tab, tap the + sign

  3. Choose the background color of the product, this helps organize your Checkout menu​

  4. Add images or photos using a 1.2:1 scale with 1008x840 pixels

  5. Enter the general product name

  6. Add the base price and include cents if needed

Add important details in Optionals

  1. Enter the promotional price

  2. Link the product to a category

  3. In the Description, use artificial intelligence to add useful details for your customers

  4. Add a general product code manually or use the  button to scan barcodes

  5. Enter a cost for your product

    ⚠️The cost is important to calculate your sales profit. If it’s missing, the sale won’t show any profit. If the cost is higher than the product price, it will show a negative profit.

  6. Choose if your product is sold by unit or in fraction

💡Don’t forget to turn on Show product in catalog, and activate Highlight this product to feature it on your store’s homepage.

Register the variations

  1. In the Variations section, start by creating the type of variation

  2. List the options available

  3. Tap Continue

    ⚠️ Make sure everything is correct before tapping Generate variations and save product, because you won’t be able to change this later.

  4. Choose the main variation, this is the first choice customers will make

  5. Use the + sign to add a photo to each option, other images can be added to the main product

  6. Enter each option to set the price, promotional price, cost, and product code

  7. Tap Save

Organize your stock

  1. Use the Stock tab to turn on inventory management

  2. Enter each option and inform the current stock quantity

  3. If you need time to restock, set a minimum stock level

  4. Tap Save to finish
