Make sales and register products using barcodes to make your store management more effective!

⚠️ Barcodes are read by the back camera of mobile devices, making it possible to use an external reader only in the web version of Kyte.

In Kyte POS or Kyte Catalog

To add products:

  1. Access the Products menu

  2. Tap the + sign to register a new item

  3. In Details, tap the icon

  4. Point the rear camera at the barcode to scan it

    💡 To activate the reading confirmation sound, use the icon at the top right of the screen.

  5. Fill in the rest of the product data

  6. Tap Create product to complete registration

Register the product using the shortcut in the Sell menu. It will appear if the code read is not registered as a product yet.

To register sales:

  1. Access the Sell menu

  2. Tap the icon

  3. Point the rear camera at the barcode to scan it

  4. Use the icons at the top right of the screen to activate the reading confirmation sound and change the number of items to be selected

  5. Continue with the sales or order registration process

On Kyte Web 💻

To add products:

  1. Access the Products menu

  2. Click the icon to activate the external reader

    ⚠️ The reader's operation is informed by the green bar and can be deactivated by clicking on the icon again.

  3. Click on + Product and fill in the rest of the product details

  4. Use Save Changes to complete registration

  5. If the product has already been registered, click on the Product code field

  6. Scan the barcode

  7. Use Save Changes to update the record

To register sales:

  1. Access the Sell menu

  2. Click the icon to activate the external reader

    ⚠️ The reader's operation is informed by the green bar and can be deactivated by clicking on the icon again.

  3. Scan the same code again or use the quantity field to add more items

  4. Continue with the sales or order registration process
