Cancelling a sale

Learn how to cancel a sale, whether it was made by a user in your account or through the online catalog.

⚠️ The system uses transaction data to create the statistics and reports of your business, so it is not possible to delete sales, only cancel them. Canceled transactions cannot be recovered.

In Kyte POS or Kyte Catalog

  1. Access the Transactions menu

  2. Open the sale you want to cancel

  3. Tap Cancel sale

  4. Confirm the cancellation by tapping Yes

  5. The transaction will appear crossed out or will be removed from the list, depending on the configuration for viewing canceled transactions

On Kyte Web 💻

  1. Access the Transactions menu

  2. Click the $ icon at the end of the listing and click Cancel Sale

  3. If you want, open the sale in question to see more details

  4. Click on $ Cancel transaction and confirm the cancellation

  5. The sale will appear crossed out in the general listing

💡 Sales made using Stripe will be refunded in the same way they were charged, payments made by credit card may take up to 10 business days to be processed.
