How to record an in-person order

Register orders directly on the app or web and keep full control of your sales.

How to record in-person orders in Kyte, save them as pending, and link them to customers using both the app and web versions.


📱 On Kyte POS

  1. Go to the Sell menu

  2. Select the products you want to include

  3. Tap the green button at the bottom of the screen

  4. Use each item’s shortcuts to edit details:

  5. Tap the ⋯ (three dots) button to add notes — they may or may not appear on the receipt

  6. Tap the customer icon 👤 to link a contact

  7. Tap Save order to register it


ℹ️ Where to find information:

  • Items: Details of the selected products

  • Details: Order history and financial tracking

  • Customer: Contact info + shortcuts to WhatsApp, Google Maps, and Waze


💻 On Kyte Web

  1. Go to the Sell menu

  2. Select your products and adjust quantities as needed

  3. Click Select customer to link a contact

  4. Edit each item:

    • Adjust price, quantity, or discount

    • Use the X button or enter 0 to remove an item

    • Apply a total discount to the sale

  5. Click the trash icon 🗑️ to clear the cart

  6. Click Go to payment

  7. Add notes — they may or may not appear on the receipt

  8. If no pickup option applies, add a delivery fee

  9. Select the payment method, if already defined

  10. Click Save order


💡 Useful tips

⚠️ Every in-person order is saved as pending until confirmed.
🧾 Confirmed orders update inventory and can’t be edited.
👥 Linking customers helps keep a purchase history and provides quick contact via WhatsApp.
