⚠️ As printer settings change depending on the country of manufacture, we always suggest testing them with the app before completing your purchase.
Kyte can connect with mini thermal printers via Bluetooth. If you are using the app on an iOS device, the printer needs to support Bluetooth 4.0 but if the device is Android, a printer with Bluetooth 2.0 or higher will be recognized.
Communication between the app and the printer is carried out in ESC/POS language, models that do not use this language can even be recognized but do not complete the print. Receipt size can be 58mm or 80mm as you prefer.
Access the Settings menu
Go to My Receipt
Tap Printer
Wait a few moments while Kyte searches for Bluetooth devices near you and select your printer from the list
⚠️ After selecting the printer from the list, it will be linked to your account and if another user accesses the same printer, it will no longer be available to you. This is because Bluetooth offers a connection between two devices only.
If you need to change the paper size, touch Paper Type
Choose your printer's paper size
You can also choose to print the receipt twice
If you don't have a printer setup, the app will give you the option to add one before printing the receipt.
It's also possible to check if the printer is correctly connected via Bluetooth directly in your device settings:

On Kyte Web 💻
As the web version of Kyte is accessed through a browser of your choice, you can connect it with the same printer you use on your computer.
Make sure your printer is set up properly and perform a print test on Windows or macOS to check if the printer responds to commands. If the printer works well with the driver you installed, it will also work with Kyte.
⚠️ Important: it is necessary to install the printer driver on Windows or macOS to ensure it works properly.
For other operating systems, please consult the manufacturer’s instructions.
As printer settings change depending on each model, you will be able to change the print settings as well as make a copy of the receipt as an image.
Access any transaction from the Orders or Transactions menus
In the Receipt field, click Print
Select your printer model and choose paper size
⚠️ The settings are saved for the user in question, not affecting other users connected to the account or who may use the same computer.
You can do the same process from any receipt and if you need to make changes to these settings just click on the printer icon.
