In this article, you’ll learn how to edit the names of registered variations and variants, and how to reorder how they appear to your customers using the Kyte POS app and Kyte Web.
📱 In Kyte POS
To edit a variation or variant name
Go to Settings
Tap Items, then Variations
Select the variation you want to edit
Change the variation name as needed
Tap Save, then Ok, got it to confirm
To edit an option, tap on it and repeat the same process
To reorder the options
Still in the Variations tab, select the variation you want to edit
Tap and hold the desired option
Drag it to the preferred position in the list
Tap Save to apply the new display order
💻 On Kyte Web
How to edit final variants in Kyte Web
Go to the Products menu
Click the product that has variations or variants
Select the desired variant
Choose whether to change the image, stock, sale price, or cost price
Adjust the necessary product information
Click Save changes
💡 Useful tips
🖥️ On Kyte Web, you can edit final variants only (image, stock, and prices). Variation options must be edited in the Kyte App.
📦 There is currently no bulk import or export for products with variations.
📊 On the PRO plan, each product can have 1 variation. On GROW and PRIME, 2 variations are allowed per product.
🔢 Each product can have up to 100 variant combinations.
🔀 The order of variations defines how options appear in the online catalog.
