✅ What you will learn
In this article, you will learn how to add delivery rates, charge for shipping by postal service or couriers, offer in-store pickup and organize your delivery routes in Kyte.
📱 In the Kyte App
Delivery by courier, private vehicle or bicycle
If deliveries are made by you or by local service providers, consider your costs and set prices according to distance and route difficulty. Add the options in Kyte so your customers can choose delivery directly in the online catalog before completing their order.
Go to the Online Catalog menu
Tap Order settings
Select Delivery
Turn on the delivery option
Add a description to guide your customers
Tap Add delivery rate option
Enter the rate name, the price and a description of what it covers
Tap Save to register the rate
Repeat steps 6 to 8 for each rate you want to offer
Tap Save until you return to the Online Catalog menu
❗ To delete a rate, tap the trash can icon in the top corner of the screen.
Shipping by postal service or couriers
If you ship to other cities or countries using specialized carriers or your country's postal service, the shipping price can only be entered after you calculate the package size and weight.
Research the best options for your customers and your business. Compare which costs are more competitive, which package types are available and what support and tracking each carrier offers.
Before you receive orders, add a delivery option with a price to be confirmed, following the steps in the previous section. This way, customers can select it when placing their order in the online catalog.
When the order arrives:
Calculate shipping using the package size and weight
Open the order in the cart
Tap the 3 dots
Tap Edit order
Tap the lightning bolt icon
Enter the shipping price

Remove the to be confirmed rate the customer selected
In the order notes, type the tracking code and the link where it can be checked

⚠️ The shipping price cannot be changed on orders already confirmed in the app or paid directly in the online catalog. So only confirm the order after entering the price.
Another option: create a product called Shipping and ask your customer to add it to the online catalog cart. For in-person sales, add the Shipping product before completing the order and adjust the amount according to the customer's address. Kyte does not calculate shipping automatically.

🚲 Offer bicycle delivery. It costs less and adds value to your brand with eco-conscious customers.
📌 Use custom statuses to keep customers updated on their purchases, whatever the delivery method.
